Whether at work or play, reflective material helps you to be seen at night or in poor light conditions. They can be easily incorporate into all kinds of garments and accessories; from workwear like safety vest to high performance active wear. Reflective material improves the visibility of anyone who wears it, on the job or on the go.
The production of reflective fabric uses the principle of retro reflection.
It helps the eye perceive light in low-light conditions. In more scientific terms, retro reflection occurs when light rays are returned in the direction from which they came. A large amount of reflected light is returned directly to the original light source, such as a car’s headlights. Since very little light is scattered when the light is returned, reflective fabric appear brightest to an observer located near the original light source.
