New ANSI/ISEA 107-2015 standard published in February.06.2016
In late December.2015 we was informed by clients in US said that new ANSI/ISEA standard will published in coming future, until to the date Chinese New Year coming, we was finally informed by our clients that ANSI/ISEA 107-2010 was changed into ANSI/ISEA 107-2015.
After reading all the conditions for new terms. We found requirement for reflective material and fluorescent fabric keep same. What’s the difference is that for safety garment was classified into several different type according to different styles, like “TYPE O; TYPE R or TYPE P” all the neck label on the vest should make it clear which type of the vest will be.
New standard has also made the smaller size for smaller person in different size. For class 2 , background area for fluorescent fabric come into 0.35 square meters compared to previous one minimum 0.5 square meters. But cover are for reflective material keep same in 0.13 square meters.
As soon as we receive the news, we have informed all the change to our clients in us too, in the coming season, we have to do change on the washing label, polybag and do change on smaller size.
We also contact with test lab for new certificate for “ANSI/ISEA 107-2015” for both reflective material and fluorescent fabric and also certificate for high visibility safety clothing, we will updated the 3rd party certificate as soon as we get it and keep our clients posted for the new version.
