How does reflective tape work
Nowadays you can find reflective tape everywhere. On the road, garments, shoes, bags etc. From another point of view that the reflective tape is really helping. But have you ever thought about how is it working?
The main principle of reflective fabric is retro-reflection. When a light irradiates on the reflective material, the glass beads above the tape will reflect the light back. So that it looks shining.
It is more dangerous when you are walking in the bad field of view. If you put on a safety vest, it will enhance the visibility and it allows you to be seen by the drivers of those vehicles sooner and more readily. Although the reflective tape is not used widely as the other ordinary garments, but it is really helpful and increases the safety factor to the utmost extent.
